* The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD is a heavy-duty version of Chevy's popular pickups. It is designed help you tackle the jobs you have to get done, and then conquer the road ahead. The truck has a modern feel, with sleek lines and strong features, and is outfitted with an intimidating huge chrome grille in front. The interior is sleek, and refined, and the controls are easy to reach and utilize. The 2014 Silverado 3500HD is sold in 5 models: Regular Cab Long Box, Regular Cab Long Box Dual Rear Wheel, Crew Cab Standard Box, Crew Cab Long Box, and Crew Cab Long Box Dual Rear Wheel. Each model has the Base WT trim, and the Higher Priced LT. The Crew Cabs have an additional choice, the top level LTZ. Standard on all WT trims is the Z85 Suspension, Heavy Duty Trailering Package, and the 6-Speed Hydra-Matic Transmission. When you move up into the available LT trim, you get Power Windows and Door Locks, Premium Cloth Seats, SiriusXM Satellite Radio with a 3-month trial, and an available Z71 Off-road Suspension Package. If you choose to really treat yourself, consider the high-end LTZ trim. It gives you Power Heated Leather Front Bucket Seats to relax in, and the comfort provided by Dual-Zone Climate Control. If you like your music to sound amazing, then you are sure to love the LTZ's Bose 7-Speaker sound system. Two engines are available on the 2014 Silverado 3500HD models: The standard Vortec 6.0-liter V8 with 360 Horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque, or an optional 6.6-liter turbodiesel V8 with 397 Horsepower and 765 lb-ft of torque. Further, all models and trims give you the option of 2WD or 4WD. Safety has been considered for the 3500HD as well. It comes with two airbags and you have the option to upgrade to six.
